As a Certified Child Passenger Technician, I help people to feel competent and confident in their car seat choice, installing the car seat into the vehicle, and buckling the child into the car seat. The best way to do this is through an in-person car seat check, so that I can accurately see everything and thoroughly educate people on their individual car seat. A CPST completes a 4-day training with lots of hands on practice, then has to pass an exam.
